Article Submission Guidelines:

The following article submission guidelines are stated here to ensure that your articles get published faster without having spending additional time reediting and resubmitting. The sooner your articles can be published the sooner readers will be able to view your article and publishers will be able to syndicate it.

Please ensure that you read through these article submission guidelines and have a clear understanding of what is required before submitting articles to HeyArticles.com. This will streamline the editorial approval process and increases your chances of having your articles approved by our editorial team.

1. Articles are to be between 250-750 words in length, not including the title. The ideal length of articles are between 350-550 words. Articles that do not adhere to this word count specification will either be rejected, or asked to be reedited and resubmitted by our editorial team.
2. Article needs to be UNIQUE and be written in a PROFESSIONAL and QUALITY standard. Articles submitted need to be your own work and not that of another author or published elsewhere on another website. You must be the sole copyright owner of  each article submitted. Articles written by a hired ghost writer or copywriter are accepted provided the copy is used solely by you and will not be published on another site.
3. When you submit your articles to Hey Articles! you will be granting us the authority to publish these articles. We may publish articles anywhere on the website or through RSS syndication. We may change the category you originally selected at any time, if we feel there is a more accurate categorization for targeted users to find your article.
4. There will be no affiliate links contained in the articles submitted. Affiliate links belonging to competitors of our sponsors are a major conflict of interest. Articles with affiliate links appearing in the content will either be rejected, asked to be reedited and resubmitted, or have the content edited by our editorial team.
5. Our article directory is a free service. Submitting your articles means you forgo the expectation of receiving any financial payment. You will not be paid for any articles you submit.
6. Submitting articles to us does not automatically guarantee the publishing of the article in our directory. It’s approval is entirely based on our editorial team who hold the right to reject articles.
7. Font used for articles is Arial size 12.
8. Articles are to be written in US English.
9. Article needs to pass online plagiarism and anti-spinning tools. NO PLAGIARISM!
   
10. Spelling, grammar, punctuation needs to be impeccable. Articles must be passed through a spellchecker and proof read for grammatical errors before submission. Articles that are filled with spelling errors and poor grammar will be rejected.
11. No excessive repetition, articles need to have a logical and legible flow.
12. Must not mention any thing that may deemed as offensive or contraband e.g, pornography & adult services, tobacco, selling alcohol, gambling, spamming, warez ,hacking, traffic jamming devices, racial intolerance, weapons, promotion of drug use and any other topic that may be considered as not family-friendly and/or deemed illegal that go against the law in your state, province, territory and country. Articles that attempt to feature any of these will immediately be rejected.
    
13. Articles must be written according to the editorial guidelines specified here. These guidelines are subjected to editing over time, so do make sure that you bookmark this page (CTRL+D for PC users) and follow our blog to check if these guidelines have updated before you submit your articles. This will increase the chances of your article being approved and, once accepted, fast tracks the time it takes for your article to go live for public exposure.
14. Submitting your articles to Hey Articles! you are giving permission for other visitors to the site the right to republish your article on their websites, newsletters, zines or any other format provided that the entirity of the article is copied including a credit back to you as the author, and the HeyArticles.com URL where the article can be found.,
15. When using images, whether they are from our image library or your own pictures, please only submit on picture per article. Please place images only at the bottom left corner of your article. Images must be, at least, placed below the third paragraph. The reason for this is to  ensure that your article is focused on by the user before the image. If the user copies your article he or she may also be  copying a link to the owner of the image. We also would like to  preserve the consistent format of the website to facilitate a user friendly experience. Images are not to feature trademarks, branding, or watermarks anywhere in the picture, whether these are already on the image or superimposed. Images that do not adhere to any of our image rules will be removed or modified.
16. No more than 2 links are to appear on the articles submitted – this includes links to your own website, sites that you are promoting and any images featured with hyperlinks underneath.
