Easy Online Payments
There are typically two parts to making an online payment, the first is the payment gateway, which could be a credit card processor if you are using your credit card, or any other form of payment authorization device. The second involves the user’s credit card company or the user’s bank from where the money is being paid or transferred. You might term all the technology as payment machines, if you like.
The first part of the transaction begins when you type in your request for an online payment of either a bill or any other kind of transfer and submit it to any processing company. This company encrypts all your information to ensure a safeguard against all electronic theft and makes the whole transaction perfectly safe. This makes your online payment terminal secure.
Now that your information is secure, it is passed on to the credit card or any other authorization service which ensures that all the information you have submitted is true and checks which company or institution that is responsible to make your online-payments. This encrypted form is then forwarded to your Credit Card Company or bank to further payment.
Now, the second part of transaction begins. The company receives the encrypted form and checks your account to see that there is sufficient money in your account and everything else is in order as well, to accept online payment requests.
Once this is done, the money is then sent back to the payment gateway that electronically transfers the sum to the required bank account. The amount is removed from your account, and the user receives a notification of a successful transfer within minutes (which is also the time it takes to complete the transaction).
